The Generic Port Instruction (GPI) is compulsory in the Netherlands; a safety instruction for all employees working at a construction site. This is used to improve safety at construction sites together. The GPI provides clarity about what we expect from you in terms of safe behaviour on and around the construction site.
All employees at a construction site need to be in possession of a GPI certificate. This is checked at the gate. There are three different GPI certificates: the Infra module, the Construction & Utility module and the Installation module.
At Aelbers we will ensure you have the required certificate on time & before you start working for one of our clients. We arrange for new employees who register with us to follow the course. This allows us to also contribute to a safer work environment.
